Food is very important to the Polish way of life. Our culture regards the use of natural ingredients and organic farming methods as essential to both quality and taste. As a consumer market fast food is rare and home cooking remains central to the majority of our habits.
As an economy, Poland is often regarded as the farming heartland of our continent, providing much of the fresh farm produce to the supermarkets of central Europe. Our farming methods remain antiquated which means there is significantly less use of chemicals and genetic engineering of food strains is not practiced. We place a high value on organic farming processes and we only work with suppliers whom we have visited. We check for the quality of ingredients and preparation and of course taste.
